Dr Hannah Prytherch
Clinical Psychologist
I am a registered practitioner psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
My qualifications are:
- Psychology BSc Exeter University
- Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) in Mental Health Studies (Middlesex University)
- Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy) Canterbury Christchurch University
I am a Schema Therapist working towards accreditation with the International Society of Schema Therapy (ISST).
I have 15 years experience working therapeutically in the NHS, private and charity sector, both in the UK and abroad. I currently offer private therapy alongside my consultancy role in a mental health charity. I have worked with a wide range of difficulties and have most experience in working with people with complex trauma, interpersonal difficulties and long-standing struggles with low mood or anxiety.
As a therapist, I draw on personal and professional experience to offer guidance within a warm, non-judgemental space. I like to work together with my client, exploring their needs and preferences and then offering ideas informed by a range of psychological models. The models I draw on most are Schema Therapy and third-wave CBT therapies such as ACT and CFT. Often our work involves uncovering and strengthening resources that people already have or getting in touch with lost values.
I currently offer appointments online.
